71 LT-1 Fuel Line Support Bracket????

I am having the carb rebulit and am replacing the fuel lines. Eckler's catalog lists a 1970-72 fuel line support bracket with LT1. I don't see one on my car and can't figure out where it would go. The part # is A5903 on page 122 Fall/winter 2008 ecklers catalog. Can someone tell me if this is correct and if so where it mounts--has one screw. Thanks Paul

Mounts on the carb mounting stud. The screw clamps the support together

Does someone have a picture of the bracket mounted to the carb or know a book that has a picture? Thanks for all your help.

I assume from the picture that there is only one clamp that holds the rear gas line to the pass/rear bolt but there is not one to hold the front gas line to the pass/front bolt? The clamp holding the evap hose to the carb is green?

Thanks the Terry and Dick for your knowledge, help, and cooperation. I hope to meet both of you sometime in the future at an NCRS meet, or Carlisle, and Funfest to personally thank you for all your help in the past. These comments also apply to Joe Lucia. Without your help I would never have tried to restore my 71.

Yes, there's just the one clamp. I think the "theory" behind it is that the one clamp supports the entire fuel line assembly.

1971 LS-6, which used a similar Holley carburetor, used a different clamp which was mounted toward the front of the fuel line assembly. However, although the LT-1 and LS-6 carbs were quite similar, the configuration of the LS-6 fuel line assembly was different than that used on LT-1 and that probably explains the difference in the configuration and mounting point of the support bracket.
