Re: Stamp Pad Preservation during Rebuild
It makes me sick to talk about it, but it may be therapeutic. I also had my engine rebuilt and was verfy explicit to the point of anal about not milling the pad. Well, having to work and not knowing the exact timing of this operation which took almost two months, I missed the day it happened and you know it. The few broach marks I had took a hit. I'm kind of over it now and I do have some good pictures documenting from good to bad, if its worth anything. Maybe to the next owner it will be helpful for as these old cars get older all the documentation you can get will help. I guess that's the moral. You can't have too many pictures and with digital you can do it. By the way I could show pictures but mine use too much memory and it's hard to transpose to that attachment page.
