Tire question

I read the judging guide for 68/9 and it says that goodyear tires should not say polyglass. I have a set of Goodyear tires that say Goodyear, Polyglass, F70/15. Is these tires correct for a later corvette or possibly another car? Thanks in advance.

I think they are OEM correct for Monte Carlos of the era. There may be some other application for those 15 inch Polyglass tires. Chevelles, and maybe other A-body vehicles, used 14 inch polyglass tires OEM.

TERRY is correct. Goobyear widetreads were used on Corvettes. Polyglass GT tires were used on pass. cars Comaros/ Mont Carlos etc
