Their are many manufacturers that sell Chevy Orange engine enamel. My experience is that none of them seem to have the same color. Some are more orange and others are reder. Can someone lead me in the right direction as to which paint manufacturer produces the correct color for NCRS judging for a 1967 small block.

Re: Correct Engine Paint
Joe, I've used Plasticote Chevrolet Orange (with great results) on all my engines back to the 90's.Two of the engines have passed NCRS jugding as well.

Re: Correct Engine Paint
Joe,
I had the same issue when restoring my 71 454. Some low-mile engines i saw were alomst red, while others were much more orange. Plasticote seems to be the closest I saw for color, just based on consensus. Of course, that means that it's not unanimous. If you have pictures of your car with an original sahde of orange, that's what I'd go with. I had pictures of mine before restoration and the engine had noit been tampered with. I know, because it was such a POS no one could have ever worked on it.

Re: Correct Engine Paint
Another option is to find an unrestored/unpainted motor, and have your local paint store scan in the color and duplicate it. I can't think of a better match than that.
If you need to you could always buy one of those aerosol type canisters from Eastwood or similar if you don't have a compressor and paint gun, and still use the enamel from the paint store.
Yes, it's more effort but then you'll never doubt the accuracy of the color.
