    Mike,

No experience there but I have an old guy here (retired) that does a fantastic job. Good references also. You need the number for this guy and it's yours. Just send a PM.

          Old thread, but...
I buy "oldies" parts from Fatsco all the time. Always had good dealings with them, and the parts were always good stuff...no worn out/rusty crap. Good source for older, hard to find trans hard parts/kits.

When I was in Indiana and had my 55 Chev, I found that the dirt track racers use PG in their cars. If you have a dirt track car builder around your area, they might be of help on rebuilds.

Always had good luck buying parts from Fatsco, they seem to always have what you're looking for. Talk to them at Carlisle all the time, good group of people.

thanks for all the replys. i drove up to jersey friday and droppped the old cast iron beast off at Fatsco. i was real impresssed with the rebuilders knowledge of the first generation powerglides. he was fully aware of the need to return all external parts of the tranny which is original to the vette. turnaround time predicted to be three working days. thanks again guys, mike
