69 Owners Manual
I bought a 69 owners manual several years ago. It's a 2nd edition printed December 68 part# 395551. The question is whether this edition had the perforated card for the Corvette News or not.

Ok, correction to the number it's 3955551. Did GM sell "service replacement", books like this one (without perforated card)? This one does not say reprint anywhere but says "2nd Edition". I'm trying to make sure this is a true GM book and not some aftermarket reprint. It's in perfect condition (I'm afraid to call it NOS) and looking to sell it.Comment

I don't know if GM sold the owner's manual over-the-counter (Joe Lucia will know) but Helm Inc. certainly did. See the last page, or near to the last page, of the Owner's manual.
Helm was and is the source of all the car manuals, Owner's, Service, Overhaul, and Electrical for Chevrolet products. And now days they are the source of manuals for almost ALL makes of automobiles. Check out their web site at www.helminc.comTerryComment

That is true, there are "original" second editions with the tear out card and they were made by Helm. If it does not have the card it is not original.62 Blk/Red Fuelie
