I bought a 65 coupe and need to ship it from Colorado to New Jersey and would like to get recommendations from members who have used various transporters. I already have a quote from Horseless Carriage who I've used before. I'm a little surprised at the price so I want to shop for a good, secure, reliable and reasonable carrier. Any help appreciated. You can e mail me at jcmsp062@aol.com Thanks Rich

Re: Corvette Shipping Recommendations
Rich;
My 1963 came from Georgia to my place in New Jersey (Hunterdon County). Believe it or not, I used FedEx and was completely satisfied. They offer two levels of service... i.e. the "approximate" delivery date arrangement or the "guaranteed" delivery date arrangement. With the first they pick up the car and deliver it within a couple of week window depending upon other stops, routing, etc.. With guaranteed, they will give you a specific delivery date which is "guaranteed" to you. Naturally the second option costs more.
Good luck,

Re: Corvette Shipping Recommendations
Hi Rich! I have shipped at least a dozen times and used PassPort Transport (purchased by FedEX) and was always happy. I suggest you look at the threads around late Summer or early Fall on the TDB as there are a number of very good carriers out there and some reasonable prices. I would first check the posts.
Good Luck!

Re: Corvette Shipping Recommendations
Looks like it's going to be FED EX. After I got the on line quote I called them and got a discout (around 10%) because I have a FED EX account. Thanks all Rich- Top
