c-3 seat backs, color molded or painted

Are c-3 seat backs painted to match cars interior or color molded from factory. I Couldn't find in archives, I think they were black and painted. Am I right ?? A 70 is the year of my interest.

My late 70's seat backs are natural fiberglass painted interior color.

Offhand, I can't think of any interior hard plastic component that was color molded; I believe all of them were painted or clad with interior color vinyl. The only exception I can think of is the soft plastic covering on the interior day/night mirror bracket; it is color molded.

My early 1970 seatbacks are black plastic painted bright blue.

I found out the hard way, the rear compartment frame on my 70 was molded in saddle colored plastic.
