I have an original power steering car missing all power steering brackets, pump, hoses etc. I noticed a number of suppliers sell complete kits. Are there any who have all the correct stuff that will pass judging? If not what is the best way to identify and aquire the correct brackets, pulleys and componets for a 427?

Here's a post I made to another question last December.
Bo, there are several excellent vendors who advertise in the driveline. Several, offer midyear power steering set-ups. The TDB archives, will also have several good tips expressed by posters to this board over the past few years.
I can tell you what I did to replace my missing power steering components (my power steering was missing from my bigblock 1967, due to removal during it's couple of years on a dragstrip. Back in the 1960s, and early 1970s, it was very common for drag racers to remove the power steering system.
I purchased a complete system from fellow NCRS member, Joe Ray, who advertises in the Driveline as Joe Ray Parts.
I received top quality, correct parts from Joe, and superb service at a very fair price. I've never met Joe in person, but I would highly recommend contacting Joe Ray.Good carburetion is fuelish hot air . . .- Top
