Has anyone used one of the 3M epoxy adhesives lately? I am not interested in Lord Fusor since the local suppliers do not have a loaner gun, unlike the 3M suppliers. I need one to work on a 60 Corvette surround. My local supplier stocks the 8219 with a 30 minute working time. 3M web site also has a 8274 with a 90 minute work time. Don't tell me to refidgerate it. Winter is still here and it STILL sucks. Any actual experience with these 3M adhesives is apprecated. I like Evercoat's panel adhesive but it sets up too fast. Thanks DG

Re: Fiberglass Panel Adhesive
Dick,
I have not used the 3M adhesive but can give an alternative if the 3M does not work. I HIGHLY RECOMEND useing the Corvette Image Bonding Glue. It is pigmented to look exactly as original and gives the same look as factory applied if done right. You can adjust the hardner to give you what working time you need.- Top

Re: Fiberglass Panel Adhesive
Roger,
The glue is from The Corvette Image in Oregon. I can get thier # for you tomorrow if no one posts it first. Also the applicator is a high tech state of the art tool----actually I made it from masking paper and 2" tape. If you or anyone else wants I can post a thread on how I make these funnels ( they wind up costing me less than 25 cents each.
Dick, I have a Duramix gun I can loan you if you'd like. It is similar to fusor and 3M.
