    Judging POA Valve 1969

Before I spend a great deal of money what is the deduction for an aftermarket POA valve vs an original?

It depends on the POA valve you get, but I'd venture a guess that an aftermarket would differ in terms of Date (take 20% of the available originality points), and Configurtion (take another 20%) then, perhaps, the Finish (take another 20%). So, my guesstimate answer is a 40-60% originality deduction.

Since the Expansion, POA & water shut-off valve is worth a total of 5 points can I assume each item is worth 1.66 points or round it to 2. If the POA takes a 60% hit I am projecting a 2 point deduction.

Does my reasoning and math make any sense?
