c1 Heater hose bracket to generator - 1961

I found only one post on this (in 2006 annswered by Brad Kasten) but am still having problems. There is a bracket (Corvette Central part. no 451316) holding the heater hoses to the generator bracket. I have tried for some time to get this bracket installed but I see no way that the hoses will go through it and have it mounted to the generator bracket as shown in the assembly manual.

Two questions: 1) have others successfully installed this bracket and 2) is it judged?

Any tricks to getting it installed?

I put one on my 62 and don't remember any problems installing it or the hoses. If you look in the 1962 AIM or the judging manual there is a good diagram of position and hose routing
The bracket is GM part number 3752449 and is shown in the judging manual and it is judged according to my old 4th edition judging manual.

I, first put the bracket onto the hoses. Moved the bracket to line up the bolt, then installed the bolt. After tightening the bolt it also tightened the bracket to the hoses..

Don't mount the bracket 1st and then try and push hoses through..
