Dang, those PO2s look good on those two Corvettes. Adds a touch more class.

I love the look of the PO2's so I purchased a set for mine. They are not perfect but I think they still look good. Only problem I have had with them is if you are not careful they will smack you in the shins when you walk around the car. OUCH!!!

Peter, here is a picture of mine. As stated earlier close look wil show paint wear, but from a short distance they are ok.

Like them but only with striped tires, they don't seem to match the raised white letters. Here's mine!

A friend of mine bought a set from a vendor in Carlisle 2 years ago who by trade is a Jeweler and he refinishes them and sells them. His set is by far the best i have seen and at the NCRS meets he goes to the judges always comment how nice they are.

Re: RPO P02 Deluxe Wheel Covers

My car originally came with the PO2s but had rallys on it when I bought it. I collected about 12 of them from ebay sales and took the best parts from several to make 4 good ones. They aren't perfect but they didn't cost me a fortune either. The caps are available as repoductions.

Mine need the black paint to be repainted too and don't think there is going to be any other approach than to mask them off and spray them. I imagine I'll sit in the easy chair, covers and 1/4 tape in hand, watching the Speed Channel and masking off the chrome.

They are different and I get a lot of comments and complements at shows.

Those jewelers use at least three grades of polishing compounds or rouges so that person has an edge.

Exactly what I did! Swap meets are great places to find them in various conditions from poor but with nice center caps to really nice with cracked center caps. I eventually bought ten PO2s and now I have six hubcaps in my garage in pieces from the "pick and choose" method that I took apart and took the four inner hubcaps of the best ones to a polisher who also removed the pings and they look great.

I agree that they look CLASSY, but since 1968 I've preferred rally wheels. I guess they're a little more SPORTY.

Sporty? Rally wheels? They're okay I guess. I suppose that's why we see them on Camaros, Caprices, Impalas, BelAirs, Biscaynes, Malibus, Chevelles, Corvairs, Monte Carlos, Chevy IIs, Novas, street rods, rat rods, resto-mods, etc. The PO2s do hide the brake dust and water streaks.

think the PO2's look sharp. The car that caused my vette craze was a 71 and had them. My uncle took them off back when new and only drove with bare rims for yrs. Said he was going for the look of the GTO Judge wheel.
Hell, i was only 10 at that time and didnt know what that meant til later.

Give it to me! What did you like and what did you not like. Would you have these again on your 69-73 Corvette?

Ratlles, flying off the wheels, prone to damage?

Oh, also do you like the look or prefer the standard rally wheels.

                                Thanks
