75 Stabilizer Bar Color?

What color should my 1975 Front Stabilizer Bar be? I've seen Natural Metal Finish and also Black. In the 75/77 Judging manual, it lists a Stabilizer "Shaft" as being Low Gloss Black. Am I correct in thinking that the Stabilizer Bar and Shaft are one and the same and therefore Low Gloss Black?

You may wish to look back at some recent threads where we discussed how today's semi-gloss is closer to a gloss of the 70's and Satin is closer to a semi-gloss of the 70s's (think I got that straight). Point is gloss today is too glossy as compared to original gloss finishes of the 70's so play around with it and study past threads.
