f.i. distributor wick

while replacing my points i noticed that there was no wick or holder for the wick,the local parts stores dont carry them,does anybody know if g.m. carries them or maybe one of the corvette parts suppliers.

I just bought the wick and holder thru ZIP products for my 64 F.I.

How's Zip's repop ? Pretty close to original (on left) ? Later GM service replacement shown on right -- the latter design support is a little beefier, but the foam wick's not worth 2 cents.

The ZIP item has a white plastic retainer and felt lubricating wick. Looks very close to original.
Its called: 62-74 Mainshaft Cam Lubricating Wick & Retainer Part# M-3602
Price $10.50 (when I got it in Oct 08.
Look it up on their website.
