I would think this picture is taken in either Italy or Switzerland - look at the license plate of the car right behind him

According to the photo credits the location is Geneva, Switzerland; date April, 1960. Must wonder if the car still exists in Europe or elsewhere; perhaps shipped back to North America?.....certainly would make an interesting find if located and positively identified.

Geneva makes sense - "GE" license plate for Geneva
