A/C Condenser Tube Radiator Support Grommet

My 68 with a/c requires a oblong shaped grommet around the upper condenser tube as it goes through the radiator support. This grommet seems to be very hard to find.

The midyears a/c condenser tube also goes through the radiator support. Is the midyear grommet similar to a 68 grommet?
    Thanks

    Byran,
Is It A Section Of Rubber Hose Or Rubber Gromment .the Reason I Ask Ive Got A 72 Coupe W/ A Section Of Rubber Hose The Passes Through The Radiator Support-looks To Be Split Down The Middle So It Will Slide Over Pipe , If Youve Got A Gromment - Doc Rebuild Has One Of The Best Selections Of Gromments Ive Seen.

      Edward,
I believe it is an oblong rubber grommet that has 3 metal prongs to hold it in place. Actually, Doc Rebuild's catalog is what piqued my interest in the midyear grommets. The midyear grommets are in the catalog but does not have a pic of one.

midyear grommets have the three metal tabs to secure the grommet to the core support. they are scarce as originals. GM cars of the 60's used them in some applications.try junkyarding. mike

Try contacting Tom Vette out of long Island, NY. I believe he has what you are looking for. I have bought items from him for my 68. His is good to deal with. Good luck. Jeff

            Mike,
No luck with the local one.
Are you familiar with the Doc Rebuilds grommet? If so, how does it compare to an original?
