Hello.
Greetings from northeast Minnesota!
I am new to NCRS, but not Corvettes.
I was a Chevrolet mechanic 1979-1986 and I always wanted one when I was working on them.
bought a '74 454 roadster in '86, a '64 327/365 roadster in '00, and a '91 a few years back, all have since been sold.
Anyway, I recently took some retirement money from my dwindling fund and bought a CA 1 (woman) owner '65 coupe, off the road since '88, original everything including paint, 72K. S/N 135, Docs include window sticker, POP, bill of sale etc. Needs a lot of work but nothing too daunting. Although complete and runs, the paint and interior are just a little too far gone for bowtie or survivor possibilities.
Plan is interior and mechanicals now, paint this summer, and perhaps a body off down the road.
Greetings!
