coupe inner windshield trim

i have a 65 coupe red with black interior . what finish should the inner windshield trim be . black to match the interior or polished stainless ? i took stainless out of the car but from pics i have seen it should be black . and if it should be black what year has stainless trim ? thanks Don.

Don,
Your car should have all black trim. The top and "A" pillar pieces are interior color, the lower piece is a flatter finish of the interior color, same with a convert.
Convert's upper and side "A" pillar trim pieces are chrome plate stainless.
