Borg Warner D Main Case

Did the "D" main case enter production in late 1962 or early 1963 and if 1962 what would be the approximate introduction date?

Ray,

The T-10 D main case entered production with the start of 63 production which is mid 62, passenger car and Corvette. The D case has a smaller front bearing hole for the 63 only front bearing size and this used a unique aluminum front bearing retainer.

I have a few D cases and the earliest dated is F-18-62 with assembly date of WK2222 (October 22,1962 second shift)

I think the 63 Muncie has a small front bearing hole also and the larger bearing is used again in 64-up.
