'69 Rally Caps- Bowties or no Bowties???

Most original rally wheel caps I have seen have no Bowtie emblem in the center, but I have seen some with the Bowtie. In Rick Bizzoco's book on 1968-1969 cars he states the '69 should have the Bowtie in the center.
Which is correct?

I've seen the flat style with the bowtie, but have never had 68 or 69 derby centers with a bowtie.

Attached is a photo of an absolutely, positively known-original 1969 cap. I don't ever recall seeing a cap with a "bow-tie" on it, although there may be some.
