I'm not sure who tracks vin's for 65's but this frame and car have now been p[FONT='Arial','sans-serif']ermanently retired for parts.[/FONT]

805 was a convertible also but we have no idea of the original engine.
My 64 needed a lot of frame work so I decided to purchase a rolling chassis to provide the donor sections. This one came complete with driveline. Tranny and Engine were not original but rear end and suspension were.
The engine that was in it when I bought it was a combination of 64 65 and 67 parts thrown together to make one 327-300. Even the tranny was from a different car (check my post on the serial on the tranny). I purchased it in Northern California where I understand it lived for many many years. Given the lask of real rust, I suspect it's a CA car.
The Body was kept by the previous owner to use as a race car. The frame has now been broken down. The suspension and brakes are on the corvette forum...
I have a full set of pix both still assembled body-on in the field, and the chassis in my driveway. I have pix of the vin and trim plates also (attached).
