What you see are pictures of the original clutch rod fork and clevis pin that came with this 60 4 speed trans vette. The clevis pin diameter is about 1/16th of an in less in diameter than the hole for the clutch fork rod. I spoke to another Vette enthusiast who is restoring a 61 dual quad 4 speed vette and he said his was the same size.
Was the hole in the rod that much bigger than the clevis pin that would create slop and faster wear and tear during the life cycle of the car? I just want to make sure the assembly of parts are correct.
