Re: altenator
The alternator pulley depends on a lot of different things beyond just the year model. Things like engine, whether or not the car is equipped with C-60 and whether it's equipped with N-40.
If the alternator pulley is a ONE PIECE type unit (i.e. pulley and fan as one integral unit), those are usually painted black OR are black-phosphate finished (i.e. appear like they are painted black).
Also, 1100608 is not a correct alternator part number for a 1964.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: altenator
Leonard,
Double check the alternator # and see if it's last three are 628. The 628 is a correct 1963 and I think 64 alternator, the date looks good, March 13, 1964.- Top
