Shelf Life for Rotella Oil?

Wal-Mart has the large quantity (I believe it's 2.5 gallon) jugs of Rotella. I only need it for one car. I change my oil every year as I only drive it about 1000-1200 miles. I want to make sure I can use the remaining oil next year. Is the shelf life good for oil?

There should be no problems if you keep the containers sealed. I am about to finish off a 55 gallon drum that I bought 4 years ago. I bought several drums when I found a super deal at a local trucking company that went bankrupt.

yeah, it will be good. I have a lot of DELVAC that I bought few years ago, I dont think it goes bad with the lid on it. I might not use some from 20 years ago but a few years you should be good to go

I've never seen 2.5 gallon jugs of C-category oil at Walmart or anywhere else.

The typical jugs at Walmart and other outlets are one gallon.

So what size do you really have?

You would know better than me. The jug is definetely thicker than a typical Anti-Freez jug. It may be short, so you're probably right....I'll be there again today, so I'll confirm.
