With all the weather in the Northwest and being in the Real Estate financial business, (really having sum kinda fun
)I almost missed celebrating the 37th Anniversary of the "Adoption" of my 72 small block coupe.
The little bugger was "born" October 19, 1971 as #6905 to be followed by 17,000+ more of the last of the front and rear chrome bumper Corvettes.
I "adopted" the Sunflower beauty from Buggy Works Chevrolet (no longer in existance)in Pensacola, Florida on January 8 1972 while in Navy Flight Training as a Marine 2nd Lt. While she kinda grew up with me, she's never left home and I continue today as the original owner! While many great memories have been had in her, many more are being made each summer as can be seen in the pics attached as we circumnavigated Mt. Rainier this summer. btw... one of my 70+yr old fellow vette friends replaced this 05 coupe with a new 08 coupe... he said he felt the 08 made him feel younger!!
