    1969 Convertible

Hi everybody! I'm a brand new member and just wanted to say hello. I have a 1969 convertible (yellow) with 350 c.i., 300 hp, 4 speed, with factory side pipes. It's an all numbers matching survivor with 49,300 original miles - only the alternator and top have been replaced and it has been recently been repainted. I'm looking forward to participating in NCRS events and meeting many of you fellow enthusiasts.

Welcome Thomas, hope you have a lot of driving miles ahead listening to those side exhausts shifting through the gears of your 4-speed. I installed the 69 side exhaust on my 70 turbo 400 and enjoyed them for years through the late 70's. new side exhaust mufflers are OK, but when the side exhaust mufflers become just an expansion chamber they can make some noise, even with an automatic when you get on it.
