Rich, is that the only problem, everything else operates okay.that wiper door can have so many different types of problems.

          Hi Richard,
I'm not sure if you're asking about the 'wiper door 3-port interlock switch' under the right wiper arm or the 'wiper door solenoid valve switch' behind the tach.
          Regards,

              Alan,
I beleave he is talking about the switch at wiper arm r/side ,it has vaccum at vent hose while engine is running.

edward how much vac should there be at the vent hose?and should the vac go away when the wiper arm goes down and hits the valve?

                  Richard,
I beleave that that this is the normal operation- when the function of the door is not needed the vent is used to let the door stay put in closed position.

                    Hi Richard,
                    Here goes...
put vac. on unmarked port, keep plunger in, unmarked port should maintain vac. while red and white ports are open.
put vac. on white port, keep plunger out, white maintains vac., unmarked and red ports are open.
Red port is always open regardless of plunger position.
                    Regards,
                    Alan

                        Hi Richard, Again,
A few years ago when the reproductions first appeared, I was interested in a getting one. The vendor, at Carlisle, 'tested' the 6 he had with his mouth and couldn't get any of them to 'work'. He gave me one and said maybe I could fix it. These were the ones with the white plunger.
                        Regards,
                        Alan
