    64 interior paint match

I am to the point of ordering the White paint for my interior trim on a 64 Coupe, my interior is black and white two-tone. I cleaned several areas on the back sides, and covered them with duct tape before bead blasting, to color match later, these areas seem to look like kind of a creamy white, as compaired to a bright white? Can anyone help with the correct paint code?
    thanks Robbie

Is there a difference from 65 to 64 interior white?

What is the difference in the two kinds of Gloss?

      thanks Robbie

            Robert,

The colors listed are for an AO Smith 65 Corvette BUT the 64's and 65's white were all by AO Smith. Should be the same.

3 Gloss and 60 Gloss I'm sure that one has more gloss than the other. Don't know which one so you're on your own with that one.

To add a bit to what Joe R. has provided -- Looking at the interior refinish paint codes for 1964 Chevrolet product line (from Chevrolet Service News, Sept. 1963), I see "Ivory" (not white) listed, and is NOT called out for Corvette (only for Chevrolet, Chevelle, Chevy II and Corvair, and only in '60 gloss'), and are the same codes Joe shows for the 1965 model year, 60 gloss. They don't seem to have had a 3 deg gloss Ivory in 1964.

Ditzler defines the gloss ratings as: Zero gloss "0" as Flat. Low gloss is 3 deg, and [I would have to conclude by elimination] that the remaining "60 deg gloss" is also called Full gloss.

I'm still not sure, but what appears to be correct is the Ivory color?
The "expert" at the paint store tells me that the Ermine White and Ivory have the same mixing formula.
He could not find a listing for white in the interior chart for Chevorlet 1964. I Found a scaned copy of the chip chart online at www.tcpglobal.com, i don"t see white there?
I guess I will take my parts to a few local paint stores for more opinions.
Spring will be here soon, I can take them to a local meet.
It seems odd that the painted parts would be so Creamy colored, compaired to the bright white of the seat covers, door panels, headliner,
these were just purchased from Al Knoch, pretty sure they are correct color!
Any pictures or resources will be helpful.

                Thanks Robbie
