Early or Late 68?

My 68 assembly date is around April 15th. Does anyone know if this would be considered a early 68 or later 68. What is the cut point? Any advise is appreciated.

My friend has an april car and my car is June 8th Both are classified as late. I judged an April 68 L89 low milage 17k and it was a late car. Early 68's would be Assembled in Sept, Oct Nov Dec 67.

Grant is right, but many times early vs. late is not that simple. It almost always has to do with a component that was changed during the year. 68 has many of those, and if you're trying to identify early vs. late regarding a specific part for your car, that often takes an examination of the AIM, the JM, and searching out original cars that are in your serial number range.
