two questions:

1. Anyone know where I can my hands on a NOS or VG condition used one?

2. Which side of the coil does it connect to?

No clue where you might find one, but when you do, connect it to the (+) terminal.

In case you forget, the capacitor connection is shown in the U69 section of your AIM.
