I am trying to make correct restoration on 427/425. What markings should be on intake and exhaust bolts?

Re: Correct Bolts 66
Typical markings for the intake bolts would be 3 radial lines with an "A" or an "M" in the center and of untrimmed (i.e. "indented") head configuration. For your application, the bolts were zinc plated and were flanged head style.
The exhaust manifold bolts were trimmed (i.e. "non-indented") standard, non-flanged head. The headmarking was 2 concentric circles and the bolts were black phosphate finished. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Correct Bolts 66
Walter, most common Intake manifold bolt headmarkings for a 66 425 HP I have seen are FP and M in that order. The exaust manifold bolt headmarkings I have seen are A, N, F. Once I figure out how to post pictures I will post some of each.- Top
