    c-1 3.70 ring pinion availabilty

Does anyone know of a reliable brand, or used 3.70 ring and pinion for my '60. Also, where do you get replacement clutch packs for the posi?
    Thanks

Bought a 3.7 Richmond gear last year. You can get them at:

I believe the Richmond is a 3.73. U.S. Gear has a 3.70. Do not know what the tooth count.

You should be able to obtain what you need from Tom's Differentials (www.tomsdifferentials.com) or Randy's Ring and Pinion (www.ringpinion.com). If neither one of these sources can help you, then I'd say you're out-of-luck. However, I feel very confident that they'll have what you need.

I recommend ring and pinion gear sets manufactured by U.S. Gear of Chicago, IL. Their product is most similar to the original GM product. These are often much harder to find than Richmond Gear gear-sets. However, I think that Tom's Differentials, if not Randy's, will have them. U.S. Gear DOES NOT SELL DIRECT.
