    Randy -

The '64 Assembly Manual, section 12, sheets A2.00 and A3.00, and the Electrical section in the Shop Manual.

Thanks John, but I was looking for more than the sequence of parts, or is everything that straight forward? Idiot proof?

        Randy,

I've read this thread a couple of times and I guess the best pictures are in the GM Parts Book. At least the sequence of the parts anyway.

        1. Tape around the body and the edge of the buckets.

        2. Assembly the buckets EMPTY of HL etc.

        3. The bolts are screwed in via the holes in the ends of the buckets from inside the bucket.

        4. After they are in with the bearings and end caps you can put on the motor and connect it mechanical and electrical.

        5. Then put in the HL cups, beams and rings.

        6. You don't have to put the electrical pigtail on first but it helps. Then again it's in the way for the bearings.

When you get into this it will fall into place. If not give me an e-mail and I'll give you my phone number. Try first!

Good luck, it's easy after the first one

        JR
