I assume that when I order the 1964 they will use a different (correct) design for that year with the top three leafs flat. Given the poor quality of the replacement spring I have now, and the difficulty with finding a NOS spring, I'll probably go with the Eaton Product. Any idea what points that will cost in Flight Judging? Thanks Chuck and JR for your posts.
    Jeff,

    Assume that Eaton will send you the exact spring in the picture that Chuck just posted. They do NOT make a separate spring for the 1963 only. That IS the spring for 1963 thru 1967. It just looks a lot more like the 1963 when it not loaded. On the Corvette the original springs look like they have no straight top three leafs cause the lower spring leafs close the gap.

      I'm almost starting to want to keep the piece of c**p aftermarket spring I have. I found marking on it that says JRS 21.307. Anyone know what that is? Nothing I could find on the web about them. I guess the Eaton is still the best bet and will look close when on the car. Thanks for all the great info.

        JRS = John R. Spring

        Jeff,

        JRS almost certainly stands for John R. Spring. Their website is:
        We carry a full line of Leaf Springs, Coil Springs and Accessories for passenger cars, light trucks, heavy trucks and trailers, Western Plow parts, Load Master Helper Springs and Load Star Variable Rate Coil Springs

        The other number looks like the spring research institute # for the Corvette spring, if memory serves me correctly.

            Thanks Franz, do you think there is a chance I could find an original somewhere? Do you have any suggestions on how to find one?

                Original Rear Leaf Spring

                Jeff,

                Several companies sell used original, including Paragon, Pacific Corvette, and probably America's Finest Corvettes. You will not find an NOS original, so used if you're only option if you don't want to go the repro route.
