    66' Alternator pulley diameter

I have a 66' 327ci, 350 hp, AC coupe. I bought a reproduction replacement belt for the alternater from Quanta. When I adjust the tension, the alternator goes out almost to the end of the adjustment groove. This is the second belt that I got from them that was like this. I know that on some of the other midyears that the higher horespower cars had larger pulleys to slow down the rpm of the alternator. Can anyone with a 66' 350hp tell me the correct diameter for the alternator pulley.
    Thanks

GM says that the pulley used for your application was GM #3864180 and GM says that pulley had an OD of 3-3/64".

      Gary -- in addition to what Joe L. has said, the alternator / water pump / crank belt is # 3847702 (3/8" x 52_1/2") with '66 Corvette w C.A.C. w/Sp. H/Per., 327 except P/S.
