As a former long time resident of Illinois and Wisconsin, and now living here in Orlando, I must admit I miss some of the ambient conditions associated with the Christmas season up north. Tonight we went to our grand children's Christmas program at their school, and it just doesn't seem right to have to drive there with the A/C on, and then to walk around the neighborhood tonight looking at house decorations in our shirt sleeves - well, it just isn't right.

I certainly hope we can have a week like this one next month when you are all down for the meet. I'll be keeping an eye out for ya!

Stu, that's just like the Texas Gulf Coast weather at the moment. Today was a short sleeve and shorts day. Tomorrow in the high 70's but as usual, we are in for a change. Weatherman on the tube is guessing at high 20's Sunday or Monday night so the brass monkey may be ready to relocate.

I feel your pain. It's about -13 Celsius here in Ottawa this morning and more snow is coming tonight and Sunday. White Christmas guaranteed...

We attend every year...always a great time.

I've never been to this show and plan to attend Friday or Saturday (or both). I'm not having my car judged but I would like to watch others get judged or attending a judging class. How do I do this? Do I have to register or purchase tickets???

Never thought that I lived further north than most Canadians, but guess maybe I did. Loring AFB is only 10 miles east of my home.

If all you want to do is look at the cars and wander the swap meet, there's no charge; if you want to participate in the judging schools, seminars, etc., you'll need to register for the meet. You can download the registration form from the Florida NCRS site (www.ncrsfl.org), or it's on page 102 of the November-December "Driveline".

Pat and I will be there. Flying down the Saturday before the meet and staying at our house North of Tampa. Driving over to Kissimmee on Wednesday.

Will be at the Sera Lago in Kissimmee from Wed. thru Sat., then heading back to our place again.

Don't know what I'll be doing. Probably judging 53-55 again. Pat will probably be doing Shark interiors one day.

Hope to see many of you there.

Hey, I'll be there just like every year since they started in Cypress Gardens. In the same old spot at Old Town and playing at the same golf courses. Can't wait!

Just got a green light from the Mrs. to go over to Kissimmee this evening for the Saturday night cruise. Lookie me in my 63!

I'll check out the menu at A & W, have me a frosty mug and a Chicken Combo. Yes indeed.

Sorry for all you guys suffering through the effects of winter up north. I might even think about you as I watch all the touristas parade by in their skimpy outfits and pale skin.

I'll be there from Wednesday untill Sunday....Staying at Mystic Dunes Golf Resort. Haven't missed the Florida winter gathering since 1990. Great time to get away from the Great White North for a few days....
