Would any of the big 3 being doing a buy back.....I doubt it

This could turn into a pissing match real fast...so, I'll drop it here
    Save the wave
If it was a GM that had that problem and you took it to a service dept. you would hear:

    1. Could not duplicate complaint
    2. That's normal for this vehicle
    3. Caused by owners abuse and not covered.

If you want to know what customer service is, go to an Acura dealership.

In many states, the dealer associations have been very successful in getting legislation passed that protects franchised dealters. About 30 years ago we had a small XXXX dealer here, could not get any vehicles floorplaned, was on C.O.D. terms on parts, had to pay for the vehicles before they were shipped from the plant. Manufacturer pulled franchise and ultimately paid almost $500k. This dealer would not sell $500k in new vehicles in 3 years.

There are 17 Chevrolet dealerships within a 30 mile radius of my house. That doesn't include the ones that closed last year or any GMC dealerships, some of which have already closed. I doubt that at this time next year there will be 10 that survive.
