Our swc with 327/300(L75) with Powerglide(M35), Power brakes(J50), & "ugly" Aftermarket AC...... I have some fittings to connect the AC vac source which was plugged into the aftermarket AFB I removed. Now have a nice Carter 3460S rebuilt on there which will have all the right linkage, fittings etc.
Pic#1 is what was on the old AFB, w/PB and the PCV valve going to the rear as original.
Pic#2 is what I bought, allegedly for 63/64 w/AC & Powerglide
Pic#3 is what I think it should be
Pic#4 is a slight rearrangement of #3 on the 3460S AFB.
The AIM is unclear, and Noland has some good photos of L75's, but not with the same intake as this one which is a correct 3799349-dated K122. Noland's page 217 shows a 64 with the above options, but has a separate threaded hole in the intake(#3844459?) for additional fittings.
?'s
-Does Pic#4 look possible for the application? It looks like a mess to me.
-Did AC + AT + PB cars use a different intake, with the separate threaded pipe thread hole for additional fittings?
Thanks,
Rich
