    Correct 63 Fuelie Coil?

My 63 was made in September of 62. So its an early Fuelie. Does anyone know which ignition coil is correct for this car? I've heard various answers over the years.

Troy, The info in the 5th edition is correct. 091 is the coil you want. Not an 087. The ballast resistor should match it and its a D-1111.

Thanks John. I believe I have the 087.

BTW you restored my fuel unit about 15 years ago.

I double checked and see I do have the 091 sitting on the shelf awaiting the next restoration. Good to go.

Troy, Sorry I am behind on the posts. Be careful when buying an original 091 as there are several variations of them. I was just using he search here to study up on the 091's when I saw your post. By the way your warranty is up. John

Thanks for pointing out that this, like many things Corvette, is more complicated that one might think.

Can you share the results of your research John, so I don't have to duplicate your efforts?
