Another 68 wheel question. The judging guide explains AG was a 68 only 15X7 wheel and the coding was: to the left of the valve stem the K = rim bead, 1 = manufacturing plant and the 3rd # = the year. Then the month just to the left of the stem and the day just to the right of the stem and finally the AG stamped to the right of the day. The question is why would an AG wheel be stamped with a K-1-1, an unreadable month on the left of the stem then to the right 30 AG? The last 1 in the K-1-1 does not reflect the 7, 8 for a 67 or 68 year of manufacture.
