1963 Tire Tub

I am trying to determine when the short versus the long sided/lipped tire tubs changed in 1963.

Hi Scott:

I think it is believed that models through VIN # 14000 did not contain the 1 inch lip on the front sides of the housing. After VIN # 14000, the 1 inch lip was added to keep dirt from entering the housing. This design was carried through 1967.
