Corvette Central sells aerosol cans. Truck delivery only, no air freight.

Your local automotive paint jobber should be able to mix the color for you. Some even will put it in aerosol cans.

The biggest problem I had with painting the interior pot metal parts on my 1960 was getting the paint to adhere. I stripped all of the old paint to bare metal, then sprayed a self-etching primer, then applied to color coat. Once the color coat dried, if I touched it, it would flake off. I went through the entire process on dash parts and end caps and had flaking at least two times; still don't know what the problem was.

Problem with most aerosol self etching primers is that they do not bond as well as the materials available to the professional trade. Always scuff the bare metal before applying primer. If it is steel I like to use a etching wash just as good insurance.

            Joe,
I had good luck using interior dye (paint?) when restoring the center console on my '64. Absolutely no flaking of the color coat. Matching colors; however, can be a pain in the you-know-what.
            Best regards,

Always, use a good metal prep/de-greaser prior to priming and if sanded, after each sanding.
