Does any one have a good discription of an early 57 rear license plate bracket spacer?

Are you talking about the split washer / spacer that fits between the bracket and body on the bottom bolt? The one that has a letter or two (F or FW?) stamped on it?

The spacer is tapperd to the body and straight on the bracket side

It is the bottom spacer but I need to know the material it is made of and the dimensions. Thanks

7/16" od with split, 1/4" tall, not the greatest design of all time but it sorta works, i hope i.ve attached a photo of an original http://members.cox.net/cfaber/pics/IMG_2875.JPG
