My Aims Has A Vauge Pic Of Rear Clips, But My Sills Have No Raised Edges, And I Have No Pics Of Front Windsheild. Any Ideas On Where To Find Correct Info. Have Aims, Parts Book, Service Manual, And A Couple Of Restoration Books, No Help.car Came Completly Unassembled And In Boxes. Any Help Would Be Nice!!!, Thanks And Have A Great Day. Oh, Also Tried Archives.

Is this a coupe? I assume you are trying to take the mouldings off. Start at the lower center mld that overlaps on the front. Put the clip removal between the moulding and the weatherstrip. Run the clip removal tool out a couple of inches and you should catch the first clip. The clip has a j hook on it so the mld needs to go down and up to release. I have sliced the weatherstrip out of the way before because you will want to replace it anyway. Do not bend the moulding because the OEM are hard to come by and expensive. The aftermarket do not fit as well as OEM. Once you get the moulding comming off you can work it off clip by clip, hopefully there isn't too much old caulk. . A plastic pry stick is helpful also. Be sure to replace the clips also.
On the rear, you can pry the moulding up from the glass a bit with the plastic stick to see the location of the clips and then release them. The rear mouldings usually come off pretty easy.

      Stewart,
Forgive my ignorance, but is the clip removal tool something that has to be made or store bought? Could you describe what it looks like in case there is one in my stuff and I just don't know what it is?
      Thank you,
      Cheers, Sandy

It's a tool specifically made to release the GM style clips. Snap On or Mac tool truck would have one or an auto body supply store would have one or be able to order one.

Thank you John for the photo.
That's not among my unidentified tools, but now I won't look like a complete moron when I talk to the MAC tool guy.....only you guys will know.
