Basic question on engine removal 1969

I'm pulling the motor and would like to pull the motor and trans together.

It looks like I'll need to pull the core support and my question is whether it's wise to do so in keeping the integrety of the front clip aligned.

Are the front frame extensions alone sturdy enough to keep the front clip solidly in place?

It appears like it should be but got into a mess with a GM A body doing that having it shift and getting the front fender alignment dishevelled.

I'd rather ask a stupid question than end up with spider webbing on the fiberglass due to insufficient support while it's up on jack stands.

    Thanks

For what it is worth, I pulled the support from my 71 during engine / trans removal with no issues.

          Hi John,
I agree with Tom. If the front bumper, bumper braces, and bolts stay in place, I can't see how the front fiberglass can sag.
          Have fun!
          Regards,
