Is anyone aware of any repro parts manufaturers that make repro heater hoses for a 1971 454/4speed air car. The judging guide seems somewhat vague on this, or maybe it' just me. The repro manufacturers like Paragon and Zip seem to have hoses that do not fit the guides description. They have GM stamped on the hoses. I am now at the point of finishing up some of the smaller more annoying details on my car and I just need some clarity. Thanks! Jim

That GM [ ] stamp will come off with lacquer thinner. There are other "issues," however. If you can find some black hoses with lengthwise groves -- instead of raised ribs -- you will be doing well. You may be limited by the need for a formed bend at the heater end.Terry
