AIM in the 1966 Restoration Package??

Hello - The restoration package I ordered for my '66 arrived as a mixture: 1966 Specifications and 1967 AIM. Although there isn't huge difference between these years, I'd like to have both complete Packages since I now own both years. I called for the missing parts, and recently received everything I need except the '66 AIM.

I just called again and was told the 1966 Restoration Package does not include an AIM. I was given another phone number (for Helms) and told they might have the '66 AIM......for a cost.

This all sounds fishy to me. Opinions??

Anyone have a 1966 AIM they received as part of the Restoration Package? .....or had to buy it from Helms?

    Thanks,
    Bob S.

    Bob -

I've gotten the GM Restoration Package for MANY of my cars over the years, and have never seen an A.I.M. or any portion of an A.I.M. as part of the package. Normally they have the Dealer Ordering Information, Engineering Features Package, detailed A.M.A. submission, list of restoration parts suppliers, etc.

Same holds true for the package I received for my 63.

Same for me...no AIM in the 1967 Restoration Package.

The correct year AIM must be purchased separately from NCRS Bookstore, Mid-America, Ecklers, Corvette Central, etc. About $20.

          Thanks guys!

Wow!!! It looks like somehow I "lucked out" when the '67 AIM came with my '66 Restoration Package!!!! It made me assume an AIM was supposed to be included.

Maybe it was meant as compensation for the package taking 5 months (and a number of call backs) to arrive...

At least now I'm straightened out on where to get a '66 AIM.
