Michael, Fair price is about 75.00 for a D324. That's typically what they go for in Carlisle anyhow. Now you will see some for sale on an auction site for much more. Finding a NOS without the R is extremely rare and I suspect they would be worth megga bucks.
If you are not showing your car then Accel has a replacement in brown or maybe black with rather unattractive lettering on top. Nice cap though but not for top flite. John D

Undetectable, with copper electrodes, "Delco - Remy" and "Patent Pending", no "R". The give-away would be if the cap is removed and examined on the inside where the Delco Remy "logo" does not say Made in US, but instead Mexico (I think). My cap has never been removed by a judge and I've not lost points on it.

I believe the repros were made in Canada. At least they were in the beginning.
