68 headlight assembly

I went thru the old threads and couldnt find a clear description on how to paint the assembly.
This is what i know: horse shoe is gloss black
actuator pieces ???? cast alum or black
head light cover (top is paint color and my original
had alot of green dichromate) is underneith all GD
or just part of it???

Yes, the HL door, or pop up, is green zinc chromate. The cover is lifted enough to shoot the back side of the hinge area that is seen when the door is opened, then lowered and painted on the top side. Whatever overspray it gets in that process.
